Take a break from searching for your and friends' names in the Drug Industry Document Archive and read others' names in the ginormous complaint of the Duke lacrosse players against my alma mater and the city of Durham. A US District Court judge in Winston-Salem today denied a motion to sanction the players for maintaining a blog about their lawsuit. According to a reliable source, all the players refused substantial settlement offers, so Duke may have to reach deep into its pockets.

Even more reason for me not to answer those 919 phone calls.

Thanks be to Ellen.
